Dear Professors, Students, and Scholars,

After the successful holding of the first, second, third and fourth conferences on interdisciplinary approaches to language teaching, literature and translation studies in 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2022, the English Language Department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad intends to hold the Fifth Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches to Language Teaching, Literature and Translation Studies (LTLTS-5). This conference will be held on the 5th and 6th of November, 2024 at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

The interdisciplinary approach to the field of language becomes more important every day as new findings and ideas are added to it. Undoubtedly, these findings enrich and deepen the field of language and foster its identity. In this regard, holding an event that can bring together interdisciplinary findings is a unique experience that not only expands the horizons of language research, but also provides individuals with a comprehensive and useful approach in solving the problems and issues of the current world.Hereby, I sincerely invite faculty members of universities and higher education institutes, lecturers, graduate students and all researchers in the fields of Persian, English, Arabic, French, Russian and other foreign languages, ​​as well as other fields such as linguistics, psychology, sociology, social sciences, education, philosophy, cultural studies, information technology, artificial intelligence, etc. to take part in this conference and present their interdisciplinary research in the field of language. Presentations can be done in either English or Persian.
